Dear students,
Please read the guidelines thoroughly before raising a regrade. Note that frivolous regrades will be given a negative penalty of -0.5 points (see point 4).
The solutions and the rubric is available at this link. Note that there are two sets of problems for question no 1, 4, 6 and 7. Identify your question set and look at the appropriate solution.
Efforts have been made to make the grading consistent and fair across the class. The quality of grading is reviewed multiple times. So, please avoid unnecessary regrades.
Still, if you feel your answer is wrongly graded, then create a regrade by clicking the regrade button. We expect your regrade request to follow one of the templates given below. ****Please choose an appropriate type and fill in the rubric no and explanation fields. ****You must mention the rubrics for which you expect marks. We also expect a clear explanation articulating the correctness of your answer in 2-3 lines.
Template 1 :
Type: Answer is correct but given zero
Rubric No: ??
Explanation: ??
Template 2:
Type: Answer is completely correct but less mark is awarded.
Rubric No: ??
Explanation: ??
Template 3: (Less likely to be considered)
Type: The answer is partially correct but I expect more marks
Rubric No: ??
Explanation: ??
Avoid writing “please provide partial marks”, “my answer is correct” etc. Any regrade without proper explanation will invite a negative penalty. Currently, the negative penalty is -0.5 marks for each frivolous regrade you raise.
Please note that the process will be entirely done on Gradescope. Please do not email, send WhatsApp messages or use Teams/Moodle. We will not be supporting any conversation on forums outside of gradescope.
